MY SUMMER IN BEAVER

My name is Libby and I am a Planning Student from the University of Alberta. I was accepted as an Engage North Intern for this summer to work in Lands and Consultation, and I couldn't be more thrilled. The following blog posts are my experiences in Beaver First Nation- a community located outside of Fort Vermillion in Treaty 8. 

I grew up in Cold Lake, AB,  which instilled in me a love for the North and all things outdoors. I also enjoy knitting, reading, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
